I have a special needs child also. My Ashton was born 3 months early, he was doing fantastic, while in the graduate nursery preparing to come home he contracted a virus which caused him to have a stroke, (he was 40 days old) it took out the whole right side of his brain. He is now 2 years old and we are working on sitting, his therapist has ordered him a stander and braces to help build strength in his stomach, trunk and legs. I understand the frustrations you are going through, and I am glad someone was able to help you. I am still trying to get my son all the equipment he needs, I know the Lord gives special kids to special parents and will be there on my road to helping Ashton as He was on yours to helping Cole! May God bless you and keep watch over your wonderful family! We have spent many hours with wonderful children who have Cerebral Palsy. They are so special. I have a poem similar to that one about a child with a broken wing (my son's right arm was paralyzed due to a birth injury). <br />Makes me boo-hoo every time I read it. Thanks for this blog - it raises awareness and that's exactly what we need.Hautemamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05975701784607214702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8424797083652697971.post-58025673531597501062010-01-19T15:54:54.286-06:002010-01-19T15:54:54.286-06:00That is absolutely beautiful.
